Yemeni Army, Popular Committees Retaliate: Target Saudi Vehicle, Shell Border Posts

Several Saudi soldiers have been killed and injured as the Yemeni army and Popular Committees targeted a Saudi vehicle in the border with Yemen.

The Yemeni army and the committees also shelled several Saudi posts in the region.

The Yemeni army, backed by popular committees and tribal fighters have been responding to the US-led Saudi aggression on Yemen which began on March 26.

Saudi Arabia has been carrying out deadly airstrikes in Yemen since March 26.

Saudi Arabia began its US-led military aggression on Yemen on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
