The advisor of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Akbar Velayati, stated that the US is working with the Zionist regime to implement a unified plot in a sequential manner in the Middle East, as he said in an interview on Sunday.

In an interview with IRIB on Sunday, Velayati said that, "This unprecedented attempt is aimed at creating their desired changes".

He noted that all these programs first of all started in Syria and then reached Iraq, Yemen and also Pakistan; given the presence of the so-called "Daesh" ["ISIL"] in Northern Afghanistan their future program is against China in the vast Asian country’s Xinjiang province.

Velayati pointed to Iran’s aids to the Yemeni nation and said that, "Iran has provide non-military aid to Yemen and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has said the Yemenis do not Iran’s weaponry aid."

He condemned the Saudi aggressions against Yemen and said, "These attacks are in line with the same policies of the US and the Zionists in the region."

Saudi Arabia began its US-led military aggression on Yemen on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
