In retaliation for the repeated and continuous US-led Saudi attacks against the Yemeni people, the national army and the Popular Committees stormed the Saudi Al-Makhrooq military position overlooking the Najran area on Monday, Al-Massira TV channel reported.

The army along with the Committees also destroyed four enemy armored vehicles and two other vehicles during the campaign against the Saudi Towaileq military position.

Earlier on Monday also, the Yemeni forces and the Committee repelled an attack carried out by terrorists of al-Qaeda takfiri group on a cement factory in Lahij province in Yemen, leaving several attackers killed or injured.

Additionally, the Yemeni forces and residents of border areas confronted the US-led Saudi aggression by shelling Saudi military positions.

In another development, various media outlets reported that a huge bomb blast went off in Khamis Mosheat military base south of Saudi Arabia, which contains a military airport.

Saudi Arabia began its US-led military aggression against Yemen on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
