The US-backed Saudi aggression against Yemen is still continuing with its brutal attack on the impoverished country, committing a new massacre in the southwestern province of Taiz on Tuesday.

The Saudi warplanes targeted Jabal Sabr in Taiz, killing nine civilians, including 3 women and two children.

Also in Taiz, 3 raids were reported on al-Isteqbal camp and another one on Jabal al-Arous.

Elsewhere in the Saada province, the Saudi aggression raided areas of al-Hasamah, al-Manazleh, al-Malaheeth and Bani Sayah.

Several people were martyred during these raids.

According to the United Nations [UN], nearly 2,000 people have been killed and 7,330 injured since March due to the conflict in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia began its US-led military aggression against Yemen on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.
