Iranians staged a rally in Iran’s capital of Tehran on Friday to denounce the US-led Saudi crimes against Yemen.

The rally took place after Friday prayers in Iran’s capital city of Tehran.

The Iranians at the rally also issued a statement at the end of the demonstrations, expressing their hatred against global arrogance and the Zionist regime.

The Iranian nation will never allow the US to do seditious acts, the statement said.

They also chanted slogans such as, "Death to the House of Saud, "Death to "Israel"", "Death to US", "Death to the Zionist" and "Martyrdom is Honor for us".

Saudi Arabia has been conducting military strikes against Yemen since March 26. The US-led Saudi aggression has been taking place without a UN mandate and in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia.

Over 1,800 people have been killed and 7,330 wounded since March 19 as a result of the conflict in Yemen, according to the United Nations [UN].
