The Yemeni army and popular committees have demolished Saudi military locations in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan, Asir and Najran on Sunday, sending tens of retaliatory rockets and artillery shells in response to the continuous deadly Saudi-led military aggression against Yemen.

A military source in Najran told SABA that the missile forces of the army and popular committees demolished a number of Saudi machineries in the Rajla military location in Najran.

It pointed out that the missiles and artillery forces re-attacked Al-Ain Al-Hara military camp as well as Al-Ramlah location in Jizan.

It added that the artillery forces of the army and popular committees also demolished the governmental compound in Al-Rabou’ah, targeting a number of Saudi machineries as well as soldiers.

Yemen has been under ceaseless military strikes by Saudi Arabia since March.

A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out a military aggression on Yemen by launching airstrikes against the country since March 26 in a bid to restore power to fugitive former Yemeni president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Saudi Arabia.

The airstrikes have not been authorized by the United Nations [UN].

As a result, the Yemeni army backed by popular committees and tribal fighters has been responding to the aggression by targeting several Saudi border military posts and cleansing several areas across the country from Hadi and al-Qaeda-linked militias.
