Two men were killed on Saturday by the UAE-backed Southern transitional council (STC) militias in Abyan province, southern Yemen. This was confirmed by Yemen News Portal based on local sources.
According to the sources, gunmen from the STC militias contacted two young men, one named Saleh al-Haddi, who works in the arms trade, and Alaa al-Homiqani. The STC militias promised to sell them a weapon when they arrived.
The two young men, from Yafa’a district, were executed by the STC gunmen behind the closed hall in Zinjibar district, one of the sources said.
The gunmen tried to portray the operation as a robbery after taking the money for the purchase of the weapon.
