A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Yousef Al-Hadhri said that the ministry would exert great efforts for reducing UN aid to Yemen.
Al-Hadhri told Al Masirah TV channel, that the measures taken by the UN organizations in Yemen represent submission to the forces of aggression and bias towards its side.
Al-Hadhri added that one program among 41 major programs of the United Nations had implemented in Yemen.
He pointed out that “thousands of health facilities are subject to closure during the coming period, and 50% to 80% of the UN health programs have been curtailed or closed.”
“Despite the financial difficulties, we will work to strengthen the steadfastness of the health sector, preserve everything, and we will not give up,” Al-Hadhri reaffirmed.
