The Department of Foreign Relations in Ansarullah directed a letter to both the Secretary-General of the United Nations [UN] Ban Ki-moon and the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries, and put them in front of the developments of the Saudi aggression against Yemen and the crimes committed against the people of Yemen and the consequences being caused by the unjust siege on all aspects of life in the country.

According to the Department of Foreign Relations in Ansarullah, the letter’s objective is "to put [the UN Secretary-General and friendly countries] in the picture of the new developments of the Saudi aggression and its crimes up to Wednesday, May 6, 2015".

The letter read: "...the Saudi aggression airplanes have continued since last night and during the day the targeting of civilians and public and private installations in more than one province and region..."

It mentioned the regions of Saada, Al Bayda’, Hajjah, Aden, and Dhamar which were all affected by the Saudi aggression on Yemen.

In Saada, "...the Saudi airplanes performed about fifty raids, by which the historic city of Saada was targeted without concern about what this historic city contains of deep-rooted human heritage, and this is not the first time that the Saudi regime deliberately targets historic sites...."

"The targeting of the heritage and the history in Yemen by the Saudi regime is an attack not only on Yemen and the Yemenis, but represents a flagrant violation of the right of all humanity, and it reflects the large complex suffered by the Saudi regime towards the history and the heritage, whereby it is acting with these issues with the mentality and the exercise of the extrinsic and complex entity towards the cultural and the historical superiority of the other", it said.

"In the province of Saada also, the Saudi aggression targeted homes of peaceful citizens...leaving nearly fifty martyrs and a number of wounded", it mentioned.

"It also targeted the presidential palace area and the destruction of the cultural center and the houses surrounding it just like it has already targeted by total destruction a flowing market, a gas station, and a car exhibition and other shops and markets and gas stations", the letter added.

In Dhamar Province, "a number of houses and public facilities were on a date today with more than a dozen raids, which destroyed a police school and a number of nearby buildings", the letter said.

Furthermore, it read: "Those were partial samples of the new developments of the Saudi aggression up to this day of its 42 days against our country and our people."

"On another level", the letter read, "the blockade applied on Yemen and its patient people continues... and as a result and in light of what the world is showing of inability and the disappointing positions, the waves of anger are increasing at a high pace among the Yemeni people in general, and among Yemeni tribes in particular..."

"For our continuous keenness to put you in the picture of the new developments...comes from putting everyone in front of what the humanitarian and moral duty dictates, which we seek and we are keen about through the joint cooperation and hope to end the unjust and illegal blockade on our land; the immediate end to all of this aggression and Saudi arrogance and what it is practicing from serious violations and crimes against humanity against our people; a halt to all forms of support provided by the Saudi regime to the terrorists and the al-Qaeda organization’s mercenaries which are living a syndrome of continuous defeats and collapses in all areas of confrontation by the blows that they are receiving at the hands of the brave Yemeni army and the heroic people’s committees, and with the support that is not unprecedented from the majority of the Yemeni people, and that is what clearly explains all the dazzling successes and stunning victories over the forces of evil and mercenariness, and which the army and people’s committees each day offer to the world and humanity as a whole".
