Former Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait Reza Mirabian says the Islamic Republic has been strongly supporting political talks to settle the Yemen conflict, criticizing Riyadh for military involvement in Yemen.
“Iran always places special emphasis on the point that solution to the Yemeni crisis is political not military but the Saudi government does not accept it,” Mirabian said, Mehr reported on Friday.
With regard to the measures taken by Iran on the conflict, he said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will make its utmost effort to restore peace and security to Yemen.”
