A new report compiled by the Yemen News Agency (SABA) alleges that the Saudi-led coalition killed at least 49 civilians across Yemen during a six-day period.

According to the report the Saudis carried out a total of 212 airstrikes, which also resulted in the deaths of 13 children and 6 women.

Some of the worst hit provinces include Sanaa and Saada, which were targeted 55 and 49 times respectively.

The provinces of Taiz, Mareb, Jawf, Hodeidah, Hajja, Shabwa, Amran, Lahj, Abyan and Ibb also came under attack.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Over 12,000 people have been killed and the country’s civilian infrastructure has been devastated.
