Report: Yemeni Snipers Record Over 120 Kills in a Month

According to a report aired on the pan-Arab Al-Mayadeen news network, Yemeni snipers have recorded over 120 kills in the country’s central Ma'rib province during the last month alone.

Saudi-backed militants are increasingly finding themselves in the sniper’s crosshairs across Yemen’s frontlines.

The sniper divisions have also been active in the southern parts of Saudi Arabia where they regularly carry out attacks in retaliation to the ongoing Saudi bombardment of Yemen.

The Saudis launched their destructive military campaign against Yemen in March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and crush the Houthi movement.

The campaign has failed to achieve any of its stated military objectives. Instead more than two years of bombings have devastated Yemen’s infrastructure, killing over 12,000 civilians in the process.
