Yemenis Protest Against Aggression Attacks on Schools

Residents of Yemen’s Bani Mater and Sanhan districts held a protest against the US-Saudi aggression attacks on schools.

The participants denounced the airstrike on Alflah School, calling it a war crime against humanity.

They also condemned the Arab and international silence toward the massacres committed by the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people, stressing their steadfastness and the continuation of the educational process.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes according to modest estimates. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
