The governor of Taiz, Abdo Mohammed al-Janadi, said Tuesday that the Yemeni army and popular forces have achieved great victories in the past two days against the Saudi-paid mercenaries in the province.
In an open press conference, the governor said the victories gained were in five front lines in the eastern and western regions, including Jabal Habashi Mountain, Maqbnah area, the coastal areas of Khpop and Dhubabin districts near Bab al-Mandab'.
Al-Janadi confirmed that the army and popular forces have secured al-Ahkoom and Haifan areas from the Saudi-paid mercenaries.
He called on the mercenaries, traitors and misled collaborators to turn themselves to the Yemeni authorities.
