A total of 15 Saudi-paid mercenaries were killed and 13 wounded, including top commanders when the Yemeni army and popular forces carried out a military operation in the al-Maslub district of al-Jawf province.
The military operation reportedly took place on Thursday when the army and popular forces captured and secured the al-Waqaz area in the same district.
Saudi Arabia launched its war on Yemen in March 2015, killing over 11,400 people.
Saudi strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the country’s infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.
