The death toll from a Saudi airstrike that targeted a residential quarter in Hodayda Province has risen to 25 people dead.
According to medical officials, a total of 25 residents, including children and women, were martyred.
73 others were wounded after Saudi aggression warplanes struck their residential quarter in the Red Sea port city of al-Hodayda.
The air strikes took place on Wednesday night on al-Hunood quarter in downtown the city.
A whole family of five members was among the victims of the Saudi attack.
Many homes collapsed and a nearby hospital was badly damaged.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
