In retaliation to the continuous Saudi airstrikes against Yemeni civilians, the army and popular committees are fighting back.
The missile force of the allied forces fired on Thursday a barrage of Katyusha rockets on Serwah district of Mareb province, a military official said.
The rockets targeted a gathering of Saudi-backe militants in the Kawfal military camp in Serwah, killing or injuring a number of them.
At least 30 Saudi militiamen including two top leaders were killed in another retaliatory attack.
The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees repulsed an advance towards Wadi al-Rabe’ah area in Serwah.
About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
