The Saudi-led coalition fighter jets launched a fresh wave of airstrikes Monday against several areas in Yemen.
The warplanes targeted Mandabah, al-Hrfe, and Need Dor areas in Baqim district and Kalal al-Shaibani with seventy-one raids.
The official added the fighter jets also waged two raids on Market and citizens’ farms in Kitaf district and one raid on Petrol station in Shar district.
A series of air raids also hit Thoua’ban site and al-Amood in Jizan, a market place and farms in Kitaf district, as well as a petrol station in Shar district.
In Serwah, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes struck with artillery and Katyusha shells houses and farms in Al-matar, al-Koba and and Wadi Nawa areas.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
