Saudi War Jets Wage Raids on Jizan

The Saudi war jets launched on Monday a series of air raids against Wadi Jarah in Jizan region, a military official said.

The fighter jets waged seven raids on Wadi Jarah in al-Khubah area in Jizan, the official explained.

The escalation of the Saudi aggression and its intensive and continuous bombing confirms its relentless pursuit to foil the consultations in Kuwait, he said.

He pointed out that the international silence is what encouraged the Saudi-led coalition to continue the military escalation in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
