The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees including the Houthi Ansarullah movement pounded on Tuesday, several Saudi sites in the Jizan region.
A military source told Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah news website that the allied forces targetd Saudi sites in Al-Qarn and north of Al-Khubah.
He added that the army’s artillery pounded the city of Al Khubah and Saudi sites south of the bridge.
The army and people’s committees yesterday killed two Saudi soldiers in two sniping operations at two military sites in Al-Fareeda and west Al-Malhama. The joint force also blew up a Saudi Bradley with improvised explosive device in the Al-Fareeda site.
Yemen has been under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition since March 26.
Thousands have been killed and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the offensive on Yemen in a bid to allegedly restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
However, Yemeni army, backed by the committees including the Houthi Ansarullah movement has been responding to the aggression by targeting several Saudi border military posts and clearing several areas across the country, especially the Yemen’s south, from Hadi and al-Qaeda-linked militias.
