The Saudi aggression war jets launched several air raids on the capital Sana’a, targeting areas in the districts of al-Sabeen and Bani al-Harith on Thursday.

Two air raids targeted the areas of al-Nahdain and al-Sabeen south of the capital for the second time within 24 hours, a security official said.

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes also launched several raids on the areas of Wadi Ahmed and Daress in Bani al-Harith district north of Sana’a, the official added.

The bombing on those areas caused severe damage to the houses, shops and public and private property.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
