Yemeni PM: Removing Saudi from child-killer list is shame for UN

The Prime Minister of Yemen’s National Salvation Government based in Sana’a, Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour, confirmed that removing Saudi Arabia from the list of violators of children’s rights is a shame for the United Nations.

He added that this action by the United Nations and the international community is a green light to continue killing Yemeni children and civilians.

According to al-Alam, bin Habtour met the UN envoy and humanitarian coordinator in Yemen, Lise Grande, to discuss a number of issues related to the humanitarian file and livelihood of the Yemeni people.

Referring to the declining support and assistance of some international organizations to Yemen, he added that a severe humanitarian catastrophe threatens Yemenis.

The meeting also reviewed the issue of “Safer” tanker, which carrying more than one million barrels of oil. Bin Habtour stressed the relentless efforts of Yemen’s National Salvation Government to resolve this problem, contrary to claims of the other side [Saudis].
