The head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council accused the UN of supporting a coalition of aggressors in Yemen.

Mahdi al-Mashat said that the UN has failed in what it ought to do in Yemen and showed in many of its stances that it advocates blockade and aggression on Yemen.

"We assure the Yemeni people that we will not give up to the enemy and that we will continue to counter the efforts to divide Yemen until the liberation of our entire land," he stressed.

Yemen’s representative to the United Nations, Umm Kulthum Baalawi said on Tuesday that the UN envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths is not an impartial envoy.

Baalawi affirmed that Griffiths did not represent the international mediator’s role in what is going on in Yemen.
