At least 39 Islah militants were transported to Shaqra hospital in Abyan province on Thursday, medical sources told Yemen Press Agency.
11 fighters were killed and 28 injured following confrontations with UAE-backed southern transitional council militiamen.
The southern militias took over Jabal Syood site in Shaqra city and destroyed two tanks and several of armored and military pick-up vehicles.
