More than 40,000 people killed, injured during 1900 days of Saudi-led aggression

42,751 people, including children and women were killed and wounded in air strikes launched by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition on Yemen in the past 1900 days, Eye of Human Rights and Development Center revealed.

A recent report issued by the center showed that the total number of martyrs was 16,672, including 3742 children and 2364 women, while the number of wounded civilians was 26079, including 3592 children 2742 women.

The report pointed out that the Saud-led raids destroyed during the same period 562687 houses, 175 university establishments, 1355 mosques, 361 tourist establishments, 387 hospitals and health facilities, 85000 schools and educational centers, 6632 agricultural fields, 131 sports facilities, 242 archaeological sites and 47 media establishments.

The report stated that the infrastructure was severely damaged during 1900 days, as the number of destroyed airports as a result of the bombing targeted 15 airports, 16 ports, 300 stations and generators, 525 networks and communication stations, in addition to 7067 tanks and water networks, and 1951 government installations and 3969 roads and bridges.

The report pointed out that economic facilities were subjected to systematic targeting by the Saudi-led coalition fighter jets, and the strikes destroyed 390 factories and 286 fuel tankers, ten thousand 998 commercial establishments, 400 chicken farms and livestock, and six thousand 638 means of transportation.

According to the Eye of Human Rights and Development Center, during the same period, coalition aircraft destroyed 460 fishing boats, 869 food stores, 388 petrol stations, 671 markets, and 768 food trucks.
