The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has confirmed that nearly 50 percent of families in Yemen are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
“The Yemeni crisis remains the worst humanitarian crisis in the world in 2020, as nearly 50% of all families are in urgent need humanitarian assistance,” the office said in a statement.
OCHA also thanked its donors and all its partners who are working tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
