The Political Bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement on Monday condemned the recent US airstrikes against Hezbollah Brigades facilities in Iraq and Syria.
The revolutionary movement considered the attack on the popular mobilization units as a “flagrant aggression against Iraq and its forces that oppose the devastating American project in the region.”
American fighter jets bombed five sites across Iraq and Syria on Sunday. At least 24 people were killed and 50 injured.
The Political Bureau expressed solidarity with the Iraqi people and stressed on their legitimate right to respond to anything that threatens the security and stability of their country.
The statement also called “on all Arab and Islamic people to show solidarity with the Iraqi people and to condemn any foreign interference in the affairs of the region.”
