Yemeni Ambassador to Tehran Ibrahim Mohammed al-Dailami has met with Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier general Amir Hatemi on Sunday.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries in the military fields.
Al-Dailami conveyed greetings of minister of defense admiral Mohammed al-Atefi and Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad al-Ghamari to Brig. Gen. Hatemi.
He praised the relations of cooperation between the two countries at various levels and Iran’s stance towards the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen.
For his part, Hatemi conveyed his greetings to Yemen’s Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff.
He stressed the need to strengthen the relationship between the Iranian and Yemeni armies.
Iran’s defense minister confirmed Tehran’s support for a political solution in Yemen and the Yemenis right to decide the future of their country.
