Yemen’s Ministry of Health Condemns Coalition's Saada Massacre

Yemen’s Ministry of Health strongly condemned the targeting of civilians by the Saudi-led coalition across Yemen, the latest was the Ketaf massacre in Saada.

The US-Saudi warplanes targeted a resident’s car in ketaf district, killing 5 people. Preliminary toll listed a child and a pregnant woman were among the victims.

“The US-Saudi-led aggression targeted the car of Yahya Ghaleb Al-Ezzi on the highway of Ketaf district in Saada province, with a number of passengers on board,” the health ministry said in a statement. “The airstrike claimed the lives of five people; two children, two women and the owner of the car, as well as a number of wounded.”

The Yemeni Ministry of Health’s statement denounced the international silence towards what Yemen suffers from a variety of crimes, whether with direct killing, or the crimes of economic siege, which leads to the death of thousands of patients.

The Ministry of Health also affirmed Yemen’s right to sue all leaders and regimes of the coalition countries and those who supported it and contributed to this tragic situation in the country for 55 months before domestic and international courts.
