The Interior Ministry on Friday announced the martyrdom of Ibrahim Badreddine al-Houthi, the brother of Houthi leader Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
Al-Houthi was assassinated by the Saudi-led coalition that has killed thousands of Yemenis since March 2015.
In a statement, the ministry vowed to ‘prosecute and capture the tools of the criminal aggression’ that carried out the assassination of the martyr.
"The martyr was one of the finest men of the nation. He dedicate his life for the sake of God defending the faith and the homeland,” the statement added.
Yemen’s Ministry of Interior and the security services extended their deepest condolences to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi, the entire Al-Houthi family and the steadfast Yemeni people.
