In response to the continued Saudi-led aggression, the Yemeni army backed by the popular committees and the Houthi Ansarullah movement launched several retaliatory attacks on Wednesday.
The allied forces targeted the positions of Saudi-paid mercenaries in Qataba with a number of artillery shells. The offensive killed and wounded several militants.
In Taiz, the army foiled and infiltration attempt by militants along the Sala front. The operation lasted for more than five hours during which a number of militias were killed and wounded.
Also in Taiz, the army also ambushed two military vehicles in Haifan. The ambush resulted in the deaths and injuries of the forces on board.
Elsewhere in the Asir region, the allied forces killed and wounded Saudi-backed mercenaries in a foiled infiltration attempt west of Yemen’s Majaza. An armored vehicle for the Saudi military was destroyed in a rocket attack opposite to Alab outlet.
