The Yemen Scholars Association on Wednesday denounced the Bahrain Conference where the Trump administration is unveiling one part of its so-called ‘Deal of the Century’.
The association considered participating in the Manama conference a “great betrayal” to all human values and principles.
It also expressed Yemen’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, adding that the attendees in the conference do not represent the position of the Islamic people who reject occupation.
The scholars called for more efforts to shed light on the oppressed Palestinian people and the centrality of the Palestinian cause.
