Yemen’s SRC Says Group Ready to Discuss “Just Peace” with Influential States

Head of Yemen’s Supreme Revolutionary Council (SRC) Mohamed Ali al-Houthi on Friday expressed the Houthi Ansarullah movement’s readiness to engage in “serious discussion with influential countries for just peace.”

Al-Houthi blamed the absence of the international community for the atrocities committed by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

“When the international law was absent for five years during the war on Yemen, the criminals intensified their aggression. They committed crimes that are capable of reviving the law,” al-Houthi said in a twitter post.

The SRC chief also lashed out at the Arab countries that are cozying up to the Israeli entity and “offering peace by liquidating the Palestinian cause in return for prosperity.”
