A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out a military aggression on Yemen by launching airstrikes against the country since March 26. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the United Nations [UN].
In a press release, the MSF said that the health sector is significantly affected by the current situation in Yemen.
The organization also said that infrastructure such as hospitals, health centers and ambulances have been directly or indirectly affected by the conflict.
The statement pointed out that food, medicines, medical supplies and other imports are considered basic elements to provide health care services in the country.
