The leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement on Monday exclaimed that the US-led campaign against his country will not be successful.
“The Americans and their tools will fail,” Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi said in an interview with the Al-Masirah Television channel.
Sayyed Houthi warned that the revolutionary movement can hit “strategic targets” in the Saudi Arabia and the UAE should the UN-brokered ceasefire be violated. "Our missiles are capable of reaching [the Saudi capital] Riyadh," the Ansarullah chief threatened.
He underscored that “the Americans wants the crises in Yemen and in the region to continue, and they provide political cover for the regimes that carry out their plots.”
The Houthi leader stressed that the length of the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen will not affect the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, adding that the coalition has reached a “dead end in this battle”.
Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that the whole region is witnessing “great events related to the American and Israeli intervention.”
