Hezbollah Blames Ongoing Saudi Atrocities in Yemen on Silence of Int’l Organizations

Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement on Monday denounced the “brutal” massacre committed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition in the Yemeni province of Hajjah.

“The silence of international political and humanitarian organizations regarding these atrocities encouraged the aggressors to continue to destroy Yemen,” the Lebanese resistance group’s statement read.

The Saudi-led attack over the weekend claimed the lives of dozens of people, including nine women and 14 children.
Hezbollah offered its condolences to the Yemeni leadership and the martyrs’ families, hoping that the wounded have a speedy recovery and the Yemeni people achieve victory.

Yemen has been under daily Saudi aggression since March 2015. The Saudi-led military campaign was launched at fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi’s request in a bid to forcefully restore his resigned regime.

Tens of thousands of people have been killed and injured in the airstrikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
