Yemeni and international rights campaigners are organizing a twitter campaign calling for an end to the blockade of Sana’a International Airport.
Under the English language hashtag #EndYemenSiege, the campaign will commence on Saturday at 5:00 PM GMT.
Saudi Arabia and its allies unleashed a deadly military aggression against Yemen in March 2015 in an attempt to forcefully reinstall the country’s former Riyadh-allied regime.
The Saudi-led offensive has destroyed Yemen's infrastructure and led to famine in the import-dependent state.
Thousands of people were killed and hundreds of thousands of others were displaced.
