Dozens Of Coalition Militiamen Killed In Bayda: Army Spokesman

The spokesman for the Yemeni army, Brigadier Yahya Sarie, said Tuesday that the army foiled several attacks by the Saudi-backed militiamen in Bayda province.

The operation resulted in the deaths of dozens of militants, including leaders, as well as the wounding of others.

In a statement, Sarie affirmed that “the militiamen tried to launch several attacks against sites of the army in areas of Nata and Qanih. However, they failed.”

The spokesman explained that the army regained control over Dhahaki camp, “which was used to carry out terrorist operations.”

Dozens of Saudi-led coalition forces were killed and injured. Five military vehicles were also destroyed.
