The UAE’s Khalifa Foundation on Yemen’s Socotra Island, which is widely seen as an intelligence outfit posing as a humanitarian organization, has a new representative.
Saeed al-Kabi took over for Khalfan al-Mazrouei to carry out the task of representative of the foundation on the occupied island territory.
The UAE occupation has been able to tighten its control over local authorities by offering relief aid to locals.
The occupation has recently worked to establish the so-called security belt forces on the island and sent dozens of people for training in Abu Dhabi.
