The Yemeni army on Tuesday repelled several attacks by Saudi-backed militias on the Haradh district in Yemen’s Hajjah province.
The clashes resulted in dozens of militants being killed and injured.
Meanwhile, eight military vehicles were destroyed, according to Yemeni military officials.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the ousted Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi regime back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
