Saudi-backed Militants Injure Two Children In Yemen’s Hodeidah

Local Editor

At least two children were wounded by artillery fire on Thursday in the Tuhayta district of Yemen’s Hodeidah province.

The children found themselves on the receiving end of shells launched by Saudi-backed militants.

The two have been identified as Obaid Mohammed Obaid Balkam, 8, and 7-year-old Musab Mohammed Obaid Balkam.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
