The Saudi-led coalition unleashed a fresh wave of airstrikes and artillery fire against civilian targets in Yemen’s northwestern province of Saada on Tuesday.
The Yemen Press Agency cited a local official who said that a number of districts across the province were hit.
Tuesday’s air raids also extended across the border and into Saudi Arabia’s southern region of Jizan where at least three strikes were reported in the evening hours.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
