Saudi authorities have confirmed the loss of three servicemen during clashes with Yemeni troopers and Popular Committees fighters in Yemen's northern province of al-Jawf.
The pro-government Shohada al-Wajeb (Martyrs of the Military Service) group, which keeps track of Saudi military personnel killed since 2009, identified the trio as Lieutenant Nader bin Hamad bin Dhafer al-Ayadhah al-Ajami as well as Conscripts Yousef bin Sa’ad bin A’edh al-Fahad al-Wa’la and Hussein bin Maraei Alwan Mubaraki.
The group, in a post published on its Twitter page, said the three Saudi soldiers were killed during the so-called Decisive Storm Operation along the Kingdom’s southern border with Yemen.
