Mahdi al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council (SPC), met Monday the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in the capital Sana’a.
Both officials discussed the difficult humanitarian situation in Yemen as a result of the Saudi-led coalition’s military campaign against Yemen.
During the meeting, both men discussed preparations to heod a new session of consultations in Geneva to resume the political process and end the Yemeni crisis.
