Houthi Leader: Aggression Countries' Intransigence Hinders Peace Negotiations

The leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah revolutionaries, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, said Thursday that the problem hindering the peace negotiations is the aggression countries' intransigence and their rejection of the comprehensive political solutions.

During his meeting with the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, Sayyed Houthi stressed that the availability of will, credibility and seriousness in the countries of aggression to bring peace are essential for the success of any political dialogue.

T'he Houthi leader confirmed the positive position of Ansaraullah towards the UN envoy’s efforts to stop the aggression on Yemen and to reach a comprehensive peaceful solution.

In the same context, the Ansarullah chief emphasized the importance of starting with steps of humanitarian nature like the issue of the prisoners and detainees as well as other matters that affect the well being of the Yemeni people.

Sayyed Houthi called on the UN to maintain its balance and responsible position towards the aggression against Yemen and to play its role in accordance with international conventions.
