Dozens of Saudi-backed militants were reportedly injured after Yemen’s armed forces shelled their positions in the Yemeni province of Jawf.
Yemeni forces fired the Zilzal-2 missile as well as other projectiles at the armed groups.
The Saudi-led coalition, which groups a number of Arab states, attacked Yemen in March 2015.
But Yemeni forces have managed to hold off a full-scale Saudi invasion, inflicting heavy loses on enemy combatants.
