According to the Al-Masirah broadcaster, Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah revolutionaries have fired at least 1 projectile at the positions of the Hadi regime troops in the western part of the country.

The M-2 missile was fired towards concentration of the regime forces on the western coast of the country, Al Masirah broadcaster reported on Sunday.

On Thursday, the spokesman for the Arab coalition said that Saudi Arabia's air defenses destroyed a ballistic missile launched by Yemeni Houthi revolutionaries in the direction of the Saudi province of Jizan.

Earlier this week, Saudi Arabian Envoy to the United States Khalid bin Salman said that the Houthis had fired 140 missiles at Saudi targets since the onset of the military conflict in March 2015.

Yemen has been engulfed in an armed strife between the resigned regime headed by former President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the Houthi movement, also known as the Ansarullah. The Saudi-led coalition of mostly Persian Gulf nations has been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthis at Hadi's request.

The United Nations has taken a number of steps to end the hostilities and to bring the parties of the conflict to the negotiations. Several rounds of UN-mediated talks have not yielded any major results so far.
