Dozens of militants have reportedly been killed by Yemeni forces in the southern Saudi province of Asir on Wednesday.
The Yemeni Saba news agency cited an official military source who said that the attack targeted militant positions on the al-Soud hilltops. Two military vehicles were also destroyed.
Earlier a number of other fighters were said to have been killed in a separate attack in the neighboring Jawf province.
The increasingly frequent attacks come amid an ongoing Saudi-led bombardment of Yemen, which is stretching into its fourth year.
