7 Other People Killed in Saudi Attack on Yemen’s Sa’ada

In the latest Saudi attacks on Yemen’s province of Sa’ada, at least seven people have been killed, including two women and a child, the Al-Alam news website reported on Wednesday.
Saudi warplanes bombarded the district of Razih in Sa’ada, a northwestern province, at least four times, killing a man and a woman and three others and injuring at least two other civilians, as local media outlets reported on Wednesday.
At least one child was also killed in a separate Saudi bombing blitz on the district of Kitaf wa Al Boqe’e in the same province.
Furthermore, Saudi fighter jets also bombarded other districts, including Dhaher, in the province and conducted airstrikes in other Yemeni provinces, including al-Jawf and Ma’rib.
Saudi Arabia also targeted Sa’ada as many as 45 times with rockets. In one of the attacks, Saudi forces hit an area in the district of Haydan, killing a woman and injuring at least four other civilians.
The death toll of civilians has risen to at least 1,916, with another 4,186 civilians wounded since the escalation of the conflict in Yemen in March, according to the United Nations [UN] recently last week.
A Saudi-led military coalition began an aggression against Yemen by launching airstrikes against the country on March 26. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the United Nations [UN].
