Four people have been killed due to Saudi air attacks against a number of districts in Sa’ada governorate in Yemen on Friday.

The Saudi air forces launched several raids against the districts of Razih, Baqum, Sahar and Rahban, killing four citizens while others were injured, a local source affirmed to SABA.

The source pointed out that the Saudi aggression operated many sorties to attack Sa’ada governorate on Friday.

The death toll of civilians has risen to at least 1,916, with another 4,186 civilians wounded since the escalation of the conflict in March, the United Nations [UN] recently said this week.

A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out airstrikes against Yemen since March. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the UN.

Saudi Arabia began its US-led military aggression against the country on March 26 - without a United [UN] Nation mandate - in a bid to restore power to the country’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Saudi Arabia, and to undermine Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement which is currently responding to the attacks on the country.
